With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with black ribbed dial in 1982 and its subsequent sale on 28 September 1984.

Reference 3700-11 AJ was first introduced in 1980. The estimated total production of this model is only 200 examples and the present lot is furthermore fresh to the market.
