A 19th century diamond and ruby snake necklace
The tapered articulated chain of reeded fancy links, to an old brilliant-cut and pear-shaped diamond-set head with cabochon ruby eyes, suspending an old brilliant-cut diamond heart, circa 1830, 39.5 cm long
