Lot Essay

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1946 and its subsequent sale on January 20th of the same year.

Reference 425 launched in 1934 and was in production for over 37 years, it wasn't until 1960 that it was offered. This reference had the most popular and most produced watch shape by the company and remained a staple design for all other watches of its time.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.
