Lot Essay


Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of this watch in 1949 and its subsequent sale on July 12th of the same year. Further accompanied by a Patek Philippe presentation box.

Reference 570 was produced from 1938 to 1972 and is the first large Calatrava watch produced in series.

This reference is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, 1998 edition, pg. 169 & 170.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.
