signed with the artist's monogram and numbered 'M 6/6' (on top of the base) and stamped with the foundry mark 'C. VALSUANI CIRE PERDUE' (on the back of the base)
bronze with light brown patina

Conceived in 1921 and cast in an edition of six

Ryuzaburo Umeghara, and thence by descent; sale, Sotheby's, London, 25 June 1996, lot 328.
