‘“Der Gedanke” is an allusion to the efforts, endeavors, impulses, inclinations and undertakings of the ever striving, never resting human mind. Scattered thoughts are depicted in their cross-connectedness, whilst being exposed to the logical incoherence of sense and sensitivity’ (Oskar Rink, 2015).
