A RUSSIAN SILVER MODEL OF A DOG AND A FRENCH SILVER CIGAR BOX WITH HINGED COVER,
THE FIRST WITH SPURIOUS MARKS FOR JULIUS RAPPOPORT, ST. PETERSBURG CIRCA 1910; THE SECOND MARK OF CARTIER, 20TH CENTURY,
the model cast as a seated bulldog with inset amethyst cabochon eyes, mounted on a circular marble plinth, marked '88'; the cigar box with scalloped sides, marked 'Sterling'; together with a Scottish silver and brass mull engraved on the hinged lid with a crest and motto 'PEACE AND PLENTY', apparently unmarked; and an English silver pocket watch with enameled dial, maker's mark 'SP', London 1778
