VARIOUS MAKER'S MARKS AND TOWNS, SECOND QUARTER 19TH CENTURY,
each marked '84', the first rounded rectangular, with gadrooned sides, geometric band of blossoms and horse-form finial to cover, maker's mark Cyrillic 'VS', Moscow 1828; the second rectangular decorated with band of satyrs amidst putto and garlands, with silver-gilt interior, maker's mark Cyrillic 'SR', Moscow 1834; the third shaped oval with shell and thread everted rim, the cover with floriform finial, maker's mark indistinct, St. Petersburg 1845
