Comprising two vanity cases, the first designed as a rectangular shaped 18k gold vanity case of blue enamel flower motif, with rose-cut diamond and onyx detail, opening to reveal a fitted mirror, hidden compartment and lipstick case, circa 1925, 2 7/8 x 1 3/4 ins.; the second designed as a rectangular shaped ribbed 18k gold vanity case, opening to reveal a watch, with mechanical jeweled movement signed Jaquet, Genève, two fitted mirrors, a multi-colored enamel nature scene and a powder compartment, circa 1925, 2 7/8 x 1 5/8 ins., with French assay marks
First case signed Cartier, France., no. 284 (partially indistinct); second case signed Van Cleef & Arpels, no. 34164
