The rounded aventurine quartz rectangular case with rose-cut diamond initials, the onyx base and hinged cover trimmed with rose-cut diamonds, the onyx cabochon pushpieces on either side opening to reveal a single compartment, mounted in platinum and 18k gold, circa 1920, 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 ins., with French assay mark and maker's mark (partially indistinct), in a fitted gray suede case
