Lot Essay

With Jaeger-LeCoultre fitted wooden presentation box containing a loupe with wooden handle and outer packaging.

The Reverso model, launched in 1931, is one of the world longest-running watch model. Essentially unchanged for more than 60 years, the Reverso continues to flourish both as a modern timepiece and as one of the few original Art Deco objects still in use.

The present watch is no. 189 of a limited edition of only 500 examples made in 1991 to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the "Reverso" model.
