Lot Essay

With Longines Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in white gold 18K, set with 275 brilliants 6.58 ct, 27 pearls and 55 tourmalines 10.18 ct. It has the reference 9711 and is fitted with a mechanical manually wound movement, calibre 320. It was invoiced on 6 December 1966 to the Swiss market.

This model is a highly unusual example of one of the celebrated firm's lady's bracelet watches particularly fashionable in the 1970s. The perfectly concealed watch is revealed by opening the ingenious spring-loaded cover set in the central part. This stunning timepiece is an elegant piece of jewellery with a remarkable combination of pearls and precious stones. Furthermore, the rounded shape of the bracelet hugs the wrist and is very comfortable to wear.
