With Audemars Piguet loupe, fitted presentation box and outer packaging.

Introduced to the market in 1998, the present watch is a very rare example of the Carillon Minute Repeating wristwatch for ladies by Audemars Piguet. The present model was made in exceedingly small numbers in yellow gold, pink gold or platinum and production ceased many years ago.

Furthermore, the Carillon minute repeating mechanism is more complicated than the normal minute repeater and is usually found in clock watches. It features three or four gongs instead of only two. The quarter hours of the present watch strikes on three hammers onto three gongs and is rarely found in wristwatches, let alone a lady's wristwatch.
