Rectangular eight day platform lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, barrels for going and alarm with hammer striking on a bell, white enamel dial, hour sector with Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary alarm dial with Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, rectangular corniche case, bevelled glass side panels and oval top for view, hinged handle and back, dial signed by maker, movement numbered

Lot Essay

Accompanied by a Vacheron Constantin Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present clock in 1905. The present travel clock was manufactured under the name Trident, which was the trademark for Vacheron and Constantin from 1884-1940.
