Lot Essay

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 2005 and its subsequent sale on March 18th of the same year.

The legendary Nautilus collection was introduced in 1976. An inspiration for such a timepiece soon emerged: the universal shape of a porthole found on virtually all maritime vessels. Since then, the Nautilus has established itself as a classic elegant sports watch.

Reference 3711 was in production for a short period of time from 2004 until 2007. Similar to reference 3700 in size and shape, this model, however, features center seconds and a slightly thicker case.
