Lot Essay

'The painting Bright Haze is constructed from two Arabic words, ’I am‘ ‘I am not’ overlapped and repeated so that the two words cannot be divided. These markings on the surface vibrate and fluctuate between existence and non-existence. The colours in the painting suggest a deep contradiction in the image'
