AN ART DÉCO RUBY AND DIAMOND NECKLACE
Of stylised geometric design, the flexible pavé-set circular and baguette-cut diamond collar suspending a graduated fringe of oval and circular-cut rubies, interspersed with twin diamond-set scrolling panels, to the similarly-set clasp and central openwork fan motif pendant, 1930s, 38.5 cm
Accompanied by report no. 57022 dated 10 August 2010 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the origin of the rubies is Burma (Myanmar), with no indications of heating.
