A GARNET, DIAMOND AND GOLD BANGLE
BY FABERGÉ, ST PETERSBURG, CIRCA 1890, SCRATCHED INVENTORY NUMBER 52527
Formed from a single hinged band of yellow gold each terminating in two opposing trefoil motifs set with diamonds and demantoid garnets, marked on band; in the original silk and velvet-lined wood case stamped 'Fabergé St Petersburg Moscow' beneath the Imperial warrant, inner circumference 15.9 cm
Provenance
Emperor Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, purchased from Fabergé for 405 roubles and presented on a visit to the city of Nizhniy Novgorod in 1896.
