Dated autumn, xinwei year (1931)
Dedicated to Madame Danhan
Calligraphy inscribed and signed, with one seal of the artist
Dated summer, twenty-seventh day, fifth month, xinwei year (1931)
NOTE:
The recipient of Tiger was Yu Danhan, daughter of Yu Qiaqing (1867-1945), a prominent financier in Shanghai.
As a skilled artist, she specialised in painting plum blossoms.
