A GROUP OF CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN SHIPPING TEA WARES
CIRCA 1795-1805
comprising an American Market teabowl and saucer decorated with a war ship flying the American flag beneath an interlaced gilt script monogram CWFER, within gilt and blue enamel ribbons and a blue enameled border with gilt stars; another teabowl and saucer similarly decorated with a trading ship and simple blue enameled border; and a tea caddy (lacking cover) decorated with a trading ship beneath a blue enameled and gilt star decorated border
