Depicting the Buddha seated on a stool second from right, a large halo behind his head, flanked by a flywhisk bearer and a follower in discussion with two ascetics listening attentively, each with heavy facial hair and long tresses, seated on a stool in a hermit shelter, surrounded by further figures above and an attendant standing with a fruit bowl at far left
