A GREEN-GLAZED RED POTTERY HILL JAR AND COVER

The cylindrical jar is raised on three bear supports and molded around the exterior with a hunting scene of figures and various animals between a pair of molded mask and ring handles, and the cover is molded with mountain peaks interspersed with further animals surrounding a central peak. The exterior of each is covered in a rich green glaze, and the interior of the jar with a yellowish glaze streaked in green and with green glaze pooled on the bottom.
