the complete set of 31 etchings with drypoint and aquatint, on imperial Japon paper, title page, text in French by George Louis Leclerc, and justification, numbered 24 on the justification (the total edition was 226), lacking the additional suite of prints with remarques on Chine, the full sheets, originally bound (now loose), generally in good condition, with original red, cream, and green gilt-leather binding contained within marbled-paper covered leather-lined slipcase. 15 ¼ x 11 ¾ in. (387 x 299 mm.)
