Lot Essay

The present watch is a very attractive example of the legendary Zenith El Primero chronograph. Its groundbreaking automatic movement was considered state-of-the-art for the time, and it well maintained over time its technical superiority, so much that it was chosen by Rolex as the base onto which to develop their first automatic chronograph calibre, in 1987.
