Lot Essay

With additional Rolex service dial

The present timepiece is an aesthetically striking example of the iconic Sea-Dweller 1665 model. Its most attractive feature is of course the “double red” dial signed by Tiffany. The watch was not born with such a configuration, it is then apparent that at some point during its life its owner upgraded the watch with this extremely rare and sought-after dial which combines two of the most appealing details one can find on a reference 1665: the double red designation, and the exclusive Tiffany signature.
