Lot Essay

A rare and attractive example of a regulator-type split seconds chronograph watch by the legendary Tiffany & Co., naturally it is of the high quality and finish one would expect from Tiffany. The dial layout with small meantime dial at 9 o’clock and seconds at 3 o’clock requires a movement specifically constructed for the purpose. Tiffany & Co. established their own watch manufactory in Geneva around 1870 capable of producing high grade and technically advanced watches of which the present watch is an excellent example.
