The present watch is one of the rare examples featuring a dial variation known to collectors as the “SWISS” only dial.
Seen exclusively in a small number of the Submariner reference 16610 with serial numbers from the end of the “U” series until the end of serial number “A” series, these dials have only the word “SWISS” below the 6 o’clock index instead of the usual “SWISS MADE” found on the majority of the reference.
Furthermore this watch is in “as new” condition with almost no signs of use, still retaining the original green Rolex reference sticker on the back of the case as well as all its accessories.
