Lot Essay

This Day-Date reference 1802/1803 is a very rare and much sought-after collectors' watch, the rarity enhanced by the original 18K gold riveted Oyster bracelet dated 1968.

The present example further delights by its excellent overall condition, the original untouched dial lavishly enhanced with 8 round-cut diamond hour markers and 2 baguette-cut diamonds at 6 and 9 o'clock, creating an eye-catching contrast with the metallic blue colour, an epitome of sophistication and prestige.

To the best of our knowledge the present watch has never before been offered in public.
