Lot Essay

The present reference 1536 impresses with its very good overall condition and the attractive two-tone silvered dial. Fresh to the market it is believed to be one of only nine examples of this model in yellow gold to have appeared in public to date.

Reference 1536
The rare reference 1536 was launched in 1940 and remained in production until around 1948. It was available in yellow and pink gold and fitted with the indirect sweep seconds calibre 12 SCI, a version of calibre 12’’’200 modified by the sons of Victorin Piguet.
