FROM THE FAMILY COLLECTION OF LUO QINGYUAN (LOTS 1499-1500)Luo Qingyuan (1897-1947), the daughter of then Shaanxi-Gansu Governor Sheng Yun (1858-1931), married Pu Ru in 1917. Sadly, she passed away in 1947 - her brothers and sisters later moved to Taiwan in 1949 and maintained a close relationship with Pu Ru, who had also moved to Taiwan, and received many works directly from the artist. These works have remained in the family collection for over fifty years
