Note:
The recipient of this painting is Kong Shiu Loon (b. 1934), who served as dean of Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Education from 1972-1975. He worked with Ding Yanyong, who was also teaching courses at the university and received several works from the artist directly.
