AN AMUSING JADEITE AND DIAMOND TURTLE BROOCH
Realistically carved as a turtle, the shell set with a high-domed jadeite cabochon carved with a coin, to the head, legs and tail of matching material, the reverse embellished by circular-cut diamonds and pierced with the character 'shou' meaning 'longevity', mounted in gold, largest cabochon approximately 14.9 x 13.3 x 5.9 mm, brooch 2.7 cm
Accompanied by report no. JC33243 dated 14 March 2006 from Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that the cabochon is natural jadeite and no polymer is detected
