Lot Essay

This Audemars Piguet collection pays tribute to one of the manufacture's founder Jules Audemars which was a genius in designing complex movements. The refined timepieces of this collection embody a legacy of intricate knowledge inherited from traditional horology. The models in this collection are distinguished by their mechanical hand-wound movements and their round cases with elegantly  polished and rounded sides, subtly reminiscing early pocket watches.  From time-only watches to grand complications, Audemars Piguet infuses in each of their creations a magnificent synthesis of technical virtuosity, aesthetically elegant designs and superlative finishing, encompassing simultaneously supreme elegance and excellence.
