Lot Essay

The Chronometre Bleu stands out from the Souveraine collection by the use of tantalum for its case. Rare and extremely hard, the metal is highly corrosion-resistant but also incredibly difficult to machine and finish. F P Journe meets this challenge by creating a case entirely polished in tantalum.
