DIAL: Grey, black baton numerals, luminous accents, two black subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30 minute register, window for magnified date
CASE: Stainless steel, screw down back and crown, screw down pushers in the band, 40 mm. diam.
BRACELET/CLASP: Stainless steel Tudor Oyster bracelet stamped 78360 and end links stamped 589, overall length approx. 175 mm.

While Tudor may have called their manual wind chronographs with date and brightly coloured dials by four digit reference numbers, the market quickly gave them the nickname Monte Carlo conjuring up images of the streets of the principality during Grand Prix weekend. This example is notable for its well preserved dial not exhibiting the degradation often seen on models of this period
