"Tasted over half a dozen times and variable, presumably bottled at different times. At best, and as last tasted, a lovely tangy, almost tarry but refined bouquet and fabulous flavour. Fairly sweet, soft, well balanced. Last noted at Maliner's tasting, March 1995. At best ****" MB

"Honeyed mid palate until giving way to a drier more spirity after taste with very fine grapfruit bitters. Ending in medium dry soft but concentrated finish. Great surprise. A year after a bottle with good level was more backward nose of sweet brioche, lovely intensity. Red fruit purity. Sweet rich taste, seductiveness, medium depth, youthful appearance. Very good. 18/20. At Dr. Maliner’s house in Florida, last tasted November 2015." EV.
