Brian Donnelly, also commonly known as KAWS, was born in New Jersey in 1974. The illustration training received from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, the freelancing at Disney as a freelance animator or the street art life he lives for graffiti, infuses into his lively and hip visual expressions. Whether his mockery on commercial advertisements and cartoonish character, or the vinyl cast sculpture with X-ed out eyes, KAWS ingeniously captivates the sight of the contemporary folks with his street pop art.
