Lot Essay

According to the archives of Vacheron Constantin the present watch was manufactured in 1950.

The present watch is both extremely attractive and wearable with a 36 mm. diameter pink gold case enhanced by perfectly proportioned teardrop lugs. Furthermore the hallmark on the lug is still very crisp and clear. The beautiful engine-turned dial with star indexes has mellowed to a very pleasing champagne colour. A wonderful example of a mid-century vintage Vacheron Constantin wristwatch.
