Lot Essay

The present watch, reference 16718, is the rarer gold version of the reference 16710 GMT-Master II. Production of the reference 16710 began in 1989 and continued until 2007, it replaced the ref. 16760. The new model features a slimmer case design. The gold version such as the present watch has reference 16718 as engraved between the lugs, the inside case back is engraved with the generic series reference 16710.
