Lot Essay

The present watch is the second out of only 2 pieces commissioned by ex 007 actor, Sir Roger Moore to the English company Project X Designs. It was auctioned for charity in Novembre 2011 at Christie’s International, Geneva for a total of CHF 75’000. All sale proceeds were donated to UNICEF of which Mr Moore is a Goodwill Ambassador. The second watch, a customized Rolex Submariner n° 01/02, remains in his possession.

Since its purchase in 2011 the watch was never worn and remains in excellent condition. This very unusual piece is a unique opportunity to acquire a sports wristwatch combining a legendary Hollywood provenance with exceptional rarity both engraved on the back of the watch.
