Dated winter, xinsi year (1941)
NOTE:
The inscription on the mounting indicates that the work was gifted from Liu Yufen (1886-1943). Liu was a native of Qingyuan of Hebei Province, and served as high military officer, chairman of Gansu Province and Shaanxi Province. During the Resistance War against Japan, Liu served as Chief of General Staff in the Military Committee in the Wang Jingwei government.
