Released in the 2012 SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie Genève), the Promendade d’une Panthère is cleverly designed by Carole Forestier-Kasapi with a brand new movement on this timepiece, the calibre 9630 MC. Instead of placing the rotor at the back of movement, she incorporates this moving component as part of her design by placing it at the front in the form of a diamond-set panther and exposing a clear view of the excellent finishing and decoration of the movement. This splendid timepiece represents a novel interpretation of the panther motif which, through the creativity of their artistic director of Haute Joaillerie Jeanne Toussaint between 1933 and 1970, has become one of the most iconic and beloved symbol of Cartier.
