Lot Essay

Enamel has always occupied a special place in the hearts of collectors, and enameled pieces by Patek Philippe never fail to impress with their superb quality and vibrant colours. The present timepiece is a celebration of this century-old art: the cloisonné enamel is the one and only protagonist of the dial, which is stark to the extreme, without even the numerals. A close inspection of this work of art highlights the supreme mastery of the skill achieved by Patek Philippe's enamellers.

The present example is still double factory sealed and therefore has never been worn, nor taken out of its original packaging.
