Lot Essay

Envisaged as a set of twelve lithographs by Ambroise Vollard, L'Album de Paysage was never completed or published. Vollard would later issue the the seven lithographs which had already been printed in an edition of one hundred. This lot lacks the seventh plate, La Source (Salomon 20).
