As stated on the Chopard Certificate of Origin, the diamond-setting can be decomposed as follows, with the dial set with 264 diamonds weighing 1.27 carats and 23 sapphires weighing 0.2 carats. The case is set with 178 diamonds weighing 22.41 carats and the buckle with 10 diamonds weighing 1.30 carats. Adding up to an impressive diamond weight of 24.98 carats, the importance of the timepiece is enhanced by the quality of the tourbillon movement visible through the aperture on the dial and stamped by the Geneva seal.
