Lot Essay

The reference 1163 was given the nickname “Siffert” by the Heuer community because it is the watch Jo Siffert was most famously photographed wearing. The typical 70’s shape of this model combining a stunning white dial with a blue chronograph hands and indexes as a reminder of the car racing uniform worn by the most famous drivers of the time adds vivacity and personality to this model and makes it very clear and understandable that Jo Siffert choose it to be his favorite watch to wear.
