In excellent overall condition, the timepiece is crafted in a very well preserved stainless steel case, with a highly attractive silvered dial with black registers. Of paramount importance, astute collectors will notice the presence of the prestigious black “Tiffany & Co.” signature positioned bellow the “Oyster Cosmograph” script at 12 o’clock and found on only scarce examples of the reference. Emphasizing its rarity, the provenance of the chronograph is documented by a letter written by a well-known employee of Tiffany & Co. New York, confirming the date of sale of the timepiece in May 1977.
