Lot Essay
Maria Pergay entretient une collaboration régulière, même si épisodique, avec la Maison Jansen entre 1960 et 1974, notamment sous la direction de Pierre Deshays qui la sollicite pour des projets précis. Elle déclinera ce principe de table à double plateau de verre enchâssant un décor en acier inoxydable à une dizaine d'exemplaires. Ils varieront tous dans leurs formes, leurs dimensions et leurs décors, pour devenir autant de pièces uniques participant à chaque fois de commandes spécifiques dans lesquelles ils s'intègrent.

Maria Pergay collaborated often, although sporadically, with Maison Jansen between 1960 and 1974, notably under the direction of Pierre Deshays who invited her to develop specific projects. She executed 10 variations of this model, each top designed with two layers of glass enclosing a different stainless steel motif. The tables varied in form, dimension and pattern, allowing them to work as unique pieces within the specific commissions they formed a part.
