NOTE :
The owner’s family member recalls that this painting was acquired in Hong Kong in the 1970s as a gesture of appreciation to the artist. The original owner was acquainted with Zhang Daqian, who had previously gifted her one of his paintings, as they were both involved in the arts industry in China and Taiwan.
