Of rectangular outline, designed as an 18k gold, circular-cut ruby and sapphire vanity case with engraved floral motif, enhanced by a gold and circular-cut diamond bird, with circular-cut ruby eye and French-cut sapphire feet, head, neck and tail feathers, opening to reveal a fitted mirror, compact, powder and lipstick compartments, circa 1950, 5 1/2 x 3 1/8 x 7/8 ins.
